"Dub Cthonic is honoured to welcome Czech musician Tomáš Niesner to the fold with his latest album ‘Imerze’. The album title here refers to several kinds of immersion related to its production; immersion at home in the cold, dark winter days of Lockdown in February 2021 (when these recording were made), the immersion into dreams which Tomáš diligently recorded during this period (and informed the mood and title of the tracks) and the artists concurrent experimental immersion in exploring modular synthesizer composition that form the basis of these recordings. The experience for the listener is an immersive one too – as Tomáš draws us into the lush, warm ambience of his gorgeous sound-world and invites us to submerge and soothe our senses here awhile. ‘Imerze’ provides a very welcome, contemplative balm for our turbulent times."
